Welcome to ISMAR 2020
This year ISMAR will happen between November 09 and 13 in Recife/Porto de Galinhas
IEEE International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality (ISMAR) is the premier conference for Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR). ISMAR explores the advances in commercial and research activities related to AR and MR and Virtual Reality (VR) by continuing the expansion of its scope over the past several years. The symposium is organized and supported by the IEEE Computer Society, IEEE VGTC and ACM SIGCHI.
In 2020, ISMAR will be organized by CIn/UFPE and UFRPE and will be held between November 9 and 13 at Hotel Armação, in the sunny and coastal city of Porto de Galinhas, Brazil.
COVID-19 Update
Because of the major challenges that everyone faces at the moment due to COVID-19, ISMAR will extend the paper submission deadline by four more weeks. We understand that a lot of researchers are currently facing major challenges with regards to in-person user evaluation. Thus we encourage authors to consider alternative ways for validation instead of canceling a submission. We will also point this out in the reviewing guidelines and highlight that a user study is not the only way to validate results.
